Dickey's Doing Good tells good stories about good people doing good things in the community. This is the first part of our interview with Elaine and Steve Maddox. 

Retired Lieutenant Steve Maddox served with Dallas Fire Rescue for 37 years and his wife, Chaplain Elaine Maddox, began volunteering with Dallas Fire Rescue almost 40 years ago and became their chaplain in 2010. Chaplain Maddox has received awards from Dallas Fire Rescue, Texas State Association of Firefighters and the International Association of Firefighters. Steve and Elaine have been married for more than 44 years.
